First UMC PRESCRIPTION FUND We here at First Church have a prescription fund for members of our community who do not have other means to pay for their medical perscriptions, through this fund we are helping people on a daily basis. |
M.I.C.O. Marion Inner City Outreach is a downtown outreach center to people in the Marion area that need assistance in day to day living. |

Oklahoma Indian Mission The Indian Mission is an organization that reaches out to Native Americans. |
GENESIS HOUSE Genesis house is a private family style recovery center, with locations throughout the United States, our church support the Genesis House right here in Marion. |
HENDERSON SETTLEMENT This is an agricultrual mission agency of the United Methodist Church, the only one of it's kind. |
MENTOR MOTHERS Mentor Mothers is an outreach to young mothers in need of assistance and is sponsored by the YWCA of Marion. |
CAM & ANN GONGWER Cam and Ann are missionaries in Ghana, Cam is a medical Doctor and they have been ministering to the people in Ghana for several years. |
WINGS OF THE MORNING Wings of the morning is a missions organization that provides from medical and dental needs in Africa, the Carribean, and Central America. So far they have about 12,000 patients with about 5,000 of those coming to know Christ. |
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY Our church supports the Habitat for Humanity based out of Marion Indiana and donates building supplies, money and time to their cause. If fact our Youth Group will be helping to build a home this summer as a part of their missions trip |
SAINT MARTINS Saint Martins is an inner city outreach center that provides hot meals to those in need and a thrift store which provides clothes and household items at very low prices. |
SHOE DRIVE Each year our church puts on a SHOE DRIVE in which we collect new shoes for children in our community that wouldn't otherwise have new shoes for school, winter, etc... |
MEALS ON WHEELS Meals on Wheels offices are actually based in First Church, doing there daily operations right next to this office! Meals on Wheels provides meals to people in the community that are not able, for a variety of reasons to prepare their own food. |
MITTEN TREE Each year our church also puts on a drive for winter clothing for children. This includes mittens, gloves, hats, etc... to support children of families in our community that do not have the financial ability to provide there own. |
GRANT COUNTY RESCUE MISSION Our church has been a supporter of the Grant County Rescue Mission for several years. The mission provides support through meals etc... for those in the community who do not have the means to provide for themselves. |
CRISIS PREGNANCY CENTER First church financialy supports the crisis preganacy center annually. The pregnancy center helps with mothers who do not have the means to take care of their new borns through counseling, clothes etc... |
ANGEL TREE Angel Tree is a Christmas program based out of the Sheriff departments chaplaincy program, it provides presents at Christmas time for the children of incarcerated men and women in our community. |
SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT CHAPLAINCY PROGRAM Our church currently supports the Sheriff's department chaplaincy program, which tends to the spiritual needs of our police force, there families, inmates and there family. |
MISSIONS CONFRENCE Each year the church budgets funds to be sent to the Mission Confrence for the United Methodist church, which in turn supports a host of missions activities around the world. |
HUMANE SOCIETY The Humane Society of Grant County provides tempterary lodgeing for stray dogs and cat in our community. They also provide a means of adopting pets for a nominal fee. |
